The script created by these scammers is a mess. I had a script hosted on a shared hosting for $15 per month, which was stored entirely on a single server. Last year I wanted a new, more modern script, so I found a script on CodeCanyon sold by these lousy scammers. They boasted that their script could be hosted for free on Vercel. I took the bait and bought their script. After their installation, the site looked pretty nice; I also received a database with 5000 articles.
And the problems began!
1. The first problems appeared when I could not modify the categories, I could not modify the contact details, I could not modify the sponsored content, I could not change the logo in the footer of the site, I could not modify the content of the Terms, Privacy, About, FAQ pages. The shock was even greater when I found that my site was running ads from Google, ads that I hadn't placed.
2. I contacted support and they said they would fix the problems shortly with the next update, except for the one with the ads; ads that are injected by them on the site and, if I don't want to see them anymore, to use an adblocker to block them! (AFTER 3 MONTHS THE ERRORS WERE NOT FIXED).
3. Their script must be installed on 5 different servers, which have limited versions (just like 000webhost hosting was in the 2010s, on the free version you had a limit on the number of visitors to the site ......).
Do you think the problems ended here? No, the ordeal of bills begins. In the first month I received bills from Vercel, MongoDB, Clerk, Cloudinary, GitHub for a total of 180 dollars. I paid the bills, although I didn't understand why; they said I had exceeded the limits allocated for a free user. The following month I found out that I had been billed another $300 for these services.
I asked for help from a consulting firm I had worked with before and was surprised by their response.
Regarding the invoices, Vercel, MongoDB, Clerk, Cloudinary, GitHub have free versions for testing, not for a site that has traffic (on the old site I had approx. 14,000 unique visitors per month, on the new site I had approx. 30,000, I didn't understand why this traffic explosion), but the difference in traffic was caused by bots created by these bastards to increase users' invoices.
The same consulting firm showed me how the people at WebBuddyLLC inject Google ads into my site, how they have total access to it.
I made a negative comment about this issue on CodeCanyon, but the comment was deleted. I gave up on their script and now everything is fine.
I was left with a bitter taste when I saw that all the negative comments on CodeCanyon, Trustpilot, Clutch were deleted; let's hope they don't disappear from here.
All the negative reviews here are 100% real, in fact, the only real reviews!
WARNING! WebBuddy scripts have a backdoor that allows them full access to your site, they can modify articles, delete articles, add ads to your site!
This backdoor also sends your administrator data to their servers, and all your customers’ data!
Hi. I would like to clarify that I purchased a script from CodeCanyon created by WebBuddy LLC. Due to the repercussions, I cannot reveal my identity; CodeCanyon and its vendors have a known practice of blocking accounts/licenses of those who complain.
The product I purchased from this WebBuddy LLC is Ai Tools Finder. The script is a complete mess; in order to use it, you have to create accounts on 7 separate platforms.
You, as the buyer, have no control over your site. The people who created this script control your site; they control your content. The script is a clone of aitoolfind.net and aitoolfind.co, sites that also inject ads into your site! (pub-1869967371065460)
Be careful, if you post negative reviews on .trustpilot.com, they will be deleted, only positive ones are accepted!
For 3 months they have been lying that they will make updates to fix 3% of the 90% of the problems their script has, in reality each update is full of other errors. Theoretically it says it solves the current problems, but the same errors or the devices come back!
BEWARE, they say they are a US company, in reality they are a gang from INDIA, set up to fool people!
I don't know how these scammers delete negative comments, I guess they pay to have them deleted... I also posted a negative review on Trustpilot about this guy WebBuddy LLC, and surprise, surprise, it was deleted immediately!
I bought a script from WebBuddy LLC, and I can say that they sell scripts that have several problems!
1) Their scripts cannot be hosted on a server; you need 5 additional services, Vercel, MongoDB, Clerk, Cloudinary, GitHub, plus a service for email, hosting nameservers, domain, etc., which must be purchased separately. They have free versions, but they are very limited. (For a site with a minimum of 10,000 visitors per month, you pay an additional $1,000 per month on top of the 5 services mentioned).
2) The seller has full access to your script through a backdoor that controls the content of your site. They deliver ads on your site, simply making money off you once again.
3) Your content will be shared with dozens of other website owners who have purchased their script, resulting in cloned websites with identical content, comments, number of articles, etc., differing only in domain name.
Avoid buying scripts sold by this WebBuddy LLC, through the Codecanyo platform, where any negative comment is prohibited and you will be blocked!
I will post comments everywhere I can to warn potential customers of this scammer!
